Grape Ape
Grape Ape is the brilliant result from crossing the unique Mendocino Purps, an award-winning Northern California crossbreed, and a legendary Afghani landrace. The mixture of these nuances produced a visually striking and bold variety.
Appearance & Aroma
The Grape Ape flower is established and very popular for its standout colours, multi-layered aroma, and of course, a consumer appeal like no other. Its nugs are generally dense and large, with tightly curled leaves to match. Its leaves are dark green, spiced with a hint of purple and amber shades with copper-coloured pistils.
The particolored leaves of this strain are very fragrant and possess a candy-like grape scent. When broken apart or ground up, the Grape Ape flower releases a different odour, suggestive of its Skunk #1 and Afghani origins. When smoked, the slightly harsh smoke emitted from the Grape Ape tastes skunk with fruity notes of grape and berries, giving a sweet taste at the tip of the palate at its wake.
Effects & Benefits
Grape Ape’s high starts rather strongly, with a combination of the facial and eye effects, which indicate the start of a rather potent experience. The heady sensation blends harmoniously with a creeping body buzz 20-45 minutes. It’s a relaxing flower that uplifts the mood and provides a slight burst of energy in the beginning, simply because it makes the user feel great. As the high continues, the more Indica side of the effects takes over, and the mindstate becomes more calm and meditative.
