Candyland is a San Francisco Bay Area cannabis train in California, and it’s a cross between the notorious Grand Daddy Purple strain and a Bay Area Platinum Cookies strain. It was initially bred by Ken Estes, part of the original Grand Daddy Purple team.
Appearance & Aroma
The buds are incredibly dense and sticky and are medium to large-sized. The leaves are vibrant green with amber-brown pistils and a thick blanket of sparkling and resinous trichomes.
Depending on the phenotype, the scent can vary from sweet vanilla and candy to earthy, chemical and fuel – or someplace in between. The GDP father is famous for passing along its pronounced grape and berry aromas. The Bay Platinum Cookies mother is recognized to have that classic Girl Scout Cookies vanilla and honey scent with an added sweetness from the Bay 11.
Because this bud is created from both clone and seed, various phenotypes are available. Although distinct flavour profiles will vary, Candyland commonly has a sweet, musky and pine smell. It is reported to have earthy undertones.
Effects & Benefits
The Candyland Sativa is a mood enhancer useful for pain relief, managing muscle tightness, and relaxation. Although it can be a Sativa dominant strain, it is not known to be racy. With THC levels ranging from 19-24%, it can be very potent. Candyland produces feelings of mental focus while providing comfort throughout the body.
This strain can be efficient in treating pain, depression, anxiety, and ADD. The Sativa properties make Candyland a mentally stimulating option that is great for social gatherings or creative activities – anything where your mind must be engaged and active.
